How to cancel Apple subscriptions (iPhone & iPad)
Any subscription you started through the App Store — Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple One, iCloud+ or a third-party app — is managed in one place on your iPhone or iPad.
If you pay through Apple (iPhone, iPad)
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If you don’t see a Cancel button, the subscription is already cancelled and will end on the date shown.
On a Mac
- Open the App Store app.
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Account Settings.
- Next to Subscriptions, click Manage.
- Click Edit next to the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the end of the current period. Cancelling a free trial usually ends access immediately, so cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
Tips
- Deleting an app does not cancel its subscription.
- If a subscription isn’t listed, it may be billed by the company directly or under a different Apple Account.
Track what you still pay for
SubGuard keeps every subscription and free trial in one place and reminds you before you’re charged. Free, no bank connection needed.
