Privacy Policy

SubGuard Intl ("SubGuard", "we", "us") helps you track subscriptions and free trials. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, and profile photo when you sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or email/password.
• Subscription data you enter: merchant name, price, billing cycle, renewal dates, category, and notes for subscriptions and free trials you add manually. SubGuard does not connect to your bank or card accounts and never reads your real transaction history.
• Preferences: country, currency, timezone, notification settings.
• Purchase information: if you subscribe to SubGuard Premium, Apple App Store or Google Play processes your payment; we receive a transaction identifier and subscription status, never your card details.
• Device and usage information: push notification token, app version, and basic diagnostic logs used to keep the service reliable.

2. How we use your information

• To operate core features: dashboards, reminders, and renewal/trial alerts.
• To send you notifications (in-app, push, or email) you have opted into.
• To verify and manage your SubGuard Premium subscription.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

3. Third-party services

We use the following third parties strictly to provide the app's functionality:

• Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple: for authentication only.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Billing: to process SubGuard Premium subscription payments.
• Email delivery provider: to send reminder and account emails you request.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your SubGuard account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:

1. Open Settings and tap Delete account (also available under Profile & security and Privacy & data).
2. Type DELETE to confirm and, for email/password accounts, enter your current password.
3. Your account, profile information, subscription and free trial records, notifications, and linked payment method records (label, type, and last 4 digits only - we never store full card numbers) are permanently deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.

If you can no longer sign in, email hdicompany8386@gmail.com from the address registered on your account with the subject line "Delete My Account"; we will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Some information may be retained where required by law (e.g. billing records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes) for the minimum period required, after which it is deleted. You can also export a copy of your data at any time from Settings > Privacy & data > Export my data.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us at hdicompany8386@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

6. Children's privacy

SubGuard is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
